Context
MAKEBARDO was approached by SkyBus to re-design their brochure which is distributed in bulk on a daily basis. The main content of this brochure aims to provide customers with the necessary information to make their trips more comfortable. They asked for a simple, effective and impactful design which also retains and enforces their brand identity.

Solution
Our approach was to play on the cover with a bold symbol that would capture the attention of customers in just a few split seconds. The meaning of the graphic concept on the cover with two arrows coming and going, reflects (like a wink) the main service of SkyBus, being the efficient transfer of passengers from Auckland City to Auckland Airport and vice versa. We kept the colour palette of the brand but we decided to use white as the predominant colour over the red, consistent with the use of colour on their buses. Finally, we created a new modern map and advertisements for their city lounge.
