Loaded— Hospitality made easy

  • Loaded is a cloud-based operating system for managing the back of house and administration for a hospitality business. Loaded exists to make the hospitality industry happier and more commercially successful.

The team of Loaded approached us to re-think their brand with a new narrative. The idea was to build an identity that seeks to inspire, bring happiness and optimism. The key fact for this category business is that people do not want to buy/use a product they think is complicated and nerdy; therefore, we must show throughout the brand identity that Loaded is a simple, functional and incredible tool.

The design needs to be fresh, simple, and appealing, moving away from the cold and sterile tech brands. Responding to this, we centre our design proposal on a bright and cheerful colour palette to help keep the design fresh and fun. The other vital part in developing the identity was creating characters and icons, critical assets to translate complicated topics and achieve a flexible, recognisable, and friendly identity. The result feels celebratory, joyful, human and not pretentious or sterile.

Luis and Bren of MAKEBARDO are super talented and great to work with. Their work speaks for itself — clean, professional, beautiful design that delivers for a brand. They were super receptive to feedback during our project and worked hard to make sure the end result aligned with the vision we had for our brand. I'm stoked with the result. —Richard McLeod, Loaded CEO
